Our specialised “Positively Pregnant” package is a one-off, face-to-face, 75 minute assessment and treatment session – appropriate anytime in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters of your pregnancy.
This session is designed to help you deal with any pregnancy-related aches and pains, discuss any concerns you have and help you prepare your body and your pelvic floor muscles for the remainder of your pregnancy and childbirth.
Emily will work through a structured assessment of your posture, back, pelvis and functional movements. We will also perform an external pelvic health check to ensure you are able to connect with and correctly strengthen and relax the pelvic floor muscles, which can help to prevent pelvic floor dysfunction during and after pregnancy.
Emily will then devise and discuss a bespoke treatment plan with you, to help ease any back, pelvic or joint pains – working towards your aims and goals and based on current advice and recommendations on safe exercise in pregnancy.
If you would like to continue your antenatal treatment following completion of the Positively Pregnant package, then further review sessions can be booked and purchased separately.
Our bespoke “Mum’s the Word” package includes 3 sessions designed to support you in achieving your optimal postnatal recovery.
The package includes an initial 45 min online assessment where Emily will talk to you about your labour and delivery as well as any issues you had during pregnancy. We will then go through a series of screening questions to ask you about any symptoms of incontinence, pain in the pelvis or when emptying your bladder or bowel, and any sexual dysfunction. We will also ask you about returning to exercise and whether you are doing pelvic floor exercises, as well as if you are concerned about a tummy gap after pregnancy.
The second session included in the package is a 1 x 60 min face-face assessment/rehab session, which is where we will look at your back, posture and functional movements, to see which areas may need strengthening and rehabilitation. This session should ideally be booked once you have had your 6-8 week postnatal check by the GP.
In this session we can provide a tailored programme of safe postnatal exercises to improve your core strength and stability. Emily can also assess your tummy muscles for a gap (called a Diastasis Recti) and can start you on some simple exercises to help rectify this if appropriate. If you have any symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction (incontinence, prolapse, pain) then Emily can also assess your pelvic floor function and provide a bespoke rehabilitation programme to help improve your symptoms.
The final session of the package is a 1 x 45 min face-face review, where Emily will work with you to progress your exercises and rehabilitation and address any other concerns you have in line with your lifestyle and your goals in returning to fitness.
If you would like to continue your postnatal rehabilitation following completion of the Mum’s the Word package, then further review sessions can be booked and purchased separately.
Our “Menopause Mojo” package includes 3 sessions designed to support you in navigating the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause.
The package includes an initial 45 min online assessment where Emily will discuss with you your current symptoms, concerns and goals. This can include your relevant medical history, any tests/investigations or hormonal profile results, as well as tracking of your menopausal symptoms. Emily will go through some pelvic health screening questions in relation to your bladder, bowel and sexual function, as well as pelvic pain, in order to get a full picture of how we can help.
The second session is a 60 min face-face assessment/rehab session which involves assessment of your posture and functional movement as well as general strength and balance. Emily will also look at your breathing patterns, your core and abdominal strength and stability and your pelvic floor muscle function. With this information, Emily can devise an holistic lifestyle and exercise programme to maintain and improve your overall strength and function, in line with your personal goals.
The final session in this specialist package is a 45 min online or face-face review (whichever is preferred) where Emily can discuss any concerns you have and progress your exercises as is appropriate, giving you the confidence to understand and manage your menopausal symptoms and ensuring you feel empowered to empower to embrace the next stage of life!

Our bespoke "ManPlan: Proactive prostate care" is a package of 3 sessions designed to support you in preparation before and after surgical/radiotherapy treatment for prostate cancer.
The package includes an initial 60 min face to face session where Emily will talk to you about your current symptoms and medical treatment plan. We will then talk through what the pelvic floor is and how it works, as well as techniques to help you build your awareness of the muscles and how to exercise them and build strength in them. It is important to do this (ideally at least 6 weeks) before the treatment if possible. as the surgery/radiotherapy etc can sometimes alter the sensation of the pelvic area and make it more difficult to feel the muscles switching on if you have not practised it before.
The second session included in the package is a 1 x 30 min online session, to be ideally taken within the first 6 weeks post-surgery or at any point during your radiotherapy as long as you do not have a catheter in situ. This session will provide an opportunity to talk through any symptoms you are experiencing and review your ability and technique to recruit the pelvic floor muscles, with a recap of what to focus on for your individual rehabilitation.
The final session of the package is a 1 x 45 min face-face review, where Emily will work with you to progress your pelvic floor exercises and rehabilitation and address any other concerns you have in line with your lifestyle and your goals in returning to fitness.
